Travelers can now save themselves the trouble of finding a place to sleep outside the Wuxi Sunan Shuofang International Airport with the opening of "Sleeping in Airport Hotel", Wuxi Daily reported on Dec 27.
Located to the south of the domestic arrival zone in Terminal 2, the resting area has a total of 25 mini-cabins with an area of 5 square meters each. The check in area is also close by and accessible via an escalator.
Similar to the space capsule, each room is well-equipped with facilities and services including one single bed, charging sockets, Wi-Fi access and air conditioning, as well as an intelligent lock for privacy and safety.
Travelers can check in and pay the deposit at the front desk with their ID cards. Wake-up services, drinking water, and 24-hour hot baths are included in the room charge.
With special deals to celebrate the opening, room fees are charged according to the type of room and length of stay. The budget cabin costs 50 yuan ($7.3) for one hour and 180 yuan for one night.
