Novo Mesto, Slovenia and Yixing signed to become sister cities on November 9, 1995.
Novo Mesto, having an overall area of 36 square kilometers and a population of 60,000, is 10 kilometers away from Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, in the southeast. Being famous for tourism, it enjoys a high reputation in autos, spinning, electronic equipments, ceramics and layout art.
