Some 250 taxi drivers in the city have formed voluntary teams to provide pick-up and other designated services for students during the exam days.
The city's metro group will also open green channels for the exam trip, and provide stationaries, umbrellas and medical cabinets in reserve.
The public health department in Binhu district has organized a physical examination for classrooms that will be used as gaokao venues, with lighting and air quality checked to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
